Rye Bay Fitness approached us at a time when enquiries and new memberships were slowing down. We were in a global pandemic, and consumer confidence was low despite gyms being allowed to reopen. Before the lockdown, Rye Bay Fitness had managed to gain a fantastic reputation among members and the local community. But this was not yet reflected in the digital space. It was time to make a change by using online platforms to reconnect with people.
We designed a new website that is informative, welcoming and easy to use, and we strengthened the brand message with a series of photographs and the production of a video. Gavin, the owner of Rye Bay Fitness, used the video to communicate his story and philosophy. The purpose of the video is to alleviate any apprehensions that potential customers may have.
In addition, we made sure that Rye Bay Fitness would attract a larger audience on social media by creating engaging content for their various channels. To ensure maximum reach, we took charge of all social media accounts during the period.
The introduction of the #RyeBayFit hashtag helped us to build a feeling of community and encourage more members to engage on social media. An idea that we promoted by decorating the gym with ”I am # RyeBayFit” banners.
